Sang Moo TGMS Martial Arts Academy was founded by Head Grand Master Tae Yong Lee 8th Dan who is the former combat martial arts drill master from Korean Special Forces.

By using special techniques and experiences, we are training bodyguards, special soldiers, and police officers with anti-terror training and Self-Defence techniques around the world.

Sang Moo TGMS Martial Arts Academy specialises in Teuk Gong Moo Sool (TGMS).

Teuk (Special) Gong (Force) Moo (Martial) Sool (Way) is the martial art of the South Korean Special Forces.

TGMS has been adapted by Sang Moo for use in a civil environment for self-defence.

The TGMS is combined Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo, Kick-Boxing, Weapons Skills (Sword, Nunchackus, Sticks, Knife etc.), Falling, Choking, Joint Twisting, Throwing and other various Self-Defence techniques for any age and gender.

At the moment, over 300 students are trained with us in two branches(New Malden & Isleworth). All our members are enjoyed and developed their confidence also we treat all students equally from our heart to achieving their goal of the life. In 1999, Sang Moo TGMS Martial Arts Academy was founded by Head Grand Master Lee who is the former combat martial arts drill master from Korean Special Forces. My son, who is 6 years old, and my daughter, who is 4, both attend classes twice a week.

As a father, I have watched my children grow in confidence, self awareness, self discipline and control since they have started. To watch the values that my wife and I strive to enforce with our children be duplicated through Masters couldn’t make me any prouder. The spiritual aspect of martial arts as a whole, but also specifically through Teuk Gong Moo Sool, is taught with passion and respect. Master Tae is truly a master of promoting fierce disciple with fun and laughter. My children absolutely love it and would attend classes every night of the week if they could.

I can not recommend this any more to anyone of any age. If I wasn’t a paramedic working shift work, I would absolutely relish the opportunity to attend classes myself. For now, I will just continue to marvel at the growth of my children; both as humans and also as learning the skill of MMA and specifically Teuk Gong Moo Sool.

Please ignore the negative reviews - i suspect they are more a representation of the individuals posting them rather than the classes themselves.
